INTRODUCTION

From September 2011 the Methodist Church in Cardiff and Caerphilly will begin the changes that are to be implemented as part of the Circuit review;

Changes that see three clusters forming this Methodist circuit. This cluster has six worshipping communities

As part of the process of getting to know each other we thought it would be helpful for each of the represented churches to write a little bit about themselves and the activities that go on in their particular context.

We hope you will agree that there are some exciting things happening around the cluster and it is hoped that we will encourage and support each other as together we seek to bring the message of the gospel to the people of our communities.

To further support this aim you will notice from the plan, which begins in September, that four Sunday evening united cluster services are planned with the theme ‘Time to talk of God’ ( marked BS on the plan ). These are to be hosted at different churches in the cluster and if anyone requires transport then please speak to one of your stewards – transport can be arranged.

Throughout the year there will be opportunities for the cluster to come together both in worship and social events so please keep a look out for information.

As we begin this New Church year together may we be blessed by the presence of God amongst us.
